      Care

      Hand wash only. When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.

      To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.  Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

      I bought this beret in Icelandic blue (solid colour) in January 2025 and it’s been one of my favourite and most practical winter purchases. Not only is it gorgeous, stylish and comfortable, but it keeps my head warm and hair dry without squashing my head like so many wool hats do. I would love to see it back in a solid colour as I’d happily buy another one next winter.

      I ordered the Icelandic blue however I was sent the bottle green with an icelandic blue label fixed to it. Looking at the website now, the original photos for icelandic blue are no longer there; instead when I click on the icelandic blue option a bottle green beret is displaying. Luckily I l like the green one so have decided not to return.
