Care

Hand wash only. When washing by hand, avoid twisting or wringing as this may damage the wool. Do not use fabric conditioner when washing.

To remove excess water from the garment we recommend wrapping it in a towel and gently squeezing it before leaving the item to dry. Do not put on a spin cycle.  Lay the product out flat to dry, do not hang your wool garments. Allow to dry naturally away from all artificial heat sources.

I am a size 14. I tried both the size M and L. No appreciable difference is waistband size. Both were too tight. Previous leggings have varied in size but even been too large and loose. These have a fixed waistband rather than a knitted waist. For an item that you really want to relax and be comfortable in, they were far too tight for my preference.

I’m sorry to hear the waistband was uncomfortable, especially when these are meant to be a relaxed, easy piece for downtime. You’re absolutely right: the fixed waistband does create a firmer fit compared to our knitted waist styles, which tend to have more give. If comfort is your priority, you might prefer our leggings with a softer, elasticated or knitted waistband — they’re designed to move with you and feel less restrictive.
